QGC Launches QII – Infratech Intelligence, a Bold New Platform Shaping the Future of Infrastructure — Welcomes Veteran Siemens Energy Executive, Richard Voorberg
Quality Growth Companies (QGC), founded in 1999 by Chad and Jeannie Williams, today announced the launch of Quality Infratech Intelligence (QII), its newest operating business and a transformative platform designed to redefine the future of infrastructure, technology, and intelligence.
This day holds special meaning for QGC. On October 9, 2013, exactly 12 years ago, QGC, in partnership with global investment leader General Atlantic, took a portfolio company public on the New York Stock Exchange in a nearly $300M IPO. That company became an iconic industry leader, marking a transformational chapter for QGC and inspiring the vision that has led to today’s milestone: the launch of QII.
“That IPO was a defining moment. It helped shape the industry and proved what’s possible when people unite around vision and purpose,” said Chad Williams, Co-Founder of QGC and now Chairman and CEO of QII. “And today, we take the next step forward. With QII, our mission is about innovating for the opportunities of tomorrow.”
QII represents QGC’s newest portfolio company, a distinct operating business with its own leadership team and mandate. Chad Williams will serve as Chairman and CEO of QII, while Richard Voorberg, former President of Siemens Energy North America, has been named the industry’s first Chief Infratech Officer.
“Rich Voorberg is the first addition to QII’s executive team for a reason,” said Williams. “His decades of experience and deep industry knowledge in global energy will be invaluable as QII delivers the intelligent infrastructure needed to power the next generation of innovation.”
QII unites energy at scale, advanced technology, and intelligence into one integrated system. With a focus on speed, sustainability, and accountability, the platform delivers forward-driven solutions that strengthen industries, communities, and global connectivity.
