Rich Voorberg is Chief Infratech Officer at QII, a platform that aligns energy providers, asset operators, and supply chain partners to deliver infrastructure at scale. He brings over 35 years of experience building and operating some of North America’s most critical energy systems.

He most recently served as President of Siemens Energy North America, where he led more than 13,000 employees across the United States and Canada and oversaw the company’s generation, transmission, industrial applications and renewables divisions. During his tenure, Rich drove domestic manufacturing expansion, including the design and construction of a new gas turbine manufacturing facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. He helped strengthen supply chains across North American power generation and forged closer collaboration with university and research partners around advanced manufacturing and digital technologies. He also championed workforce pipelines through apprenticeships and union partnerships, and represented Siemens Energy at the federal launch of AM Forward, a national initiative to scale additive manufacturing across the American industrial base. His industry leadership included board-level service as Chairman of Advanced Airfoil Components and as a board member at the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the National Petroleum Council (NPC), and the American Petroleum Institute (API).

Rich has long held that reliable, affordable energy is the foundation for modern economies. At QII, that perspective shapes how Infratech is built, connected, and scaled.
