Alex Rose
General Counsel & Chief Commercial OfficerAlex Rose serves as General Counsel and Chief Commercial Officer for QGC and QII. At QII, he leads legal and commercial strategy and supports the large-scale transactions that power the company’s infrastructure business. His career spans top-tier legal practice and operational leadership, bringing strategic insight and disciplined execution as QII grows.
Previously, Alex was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he advised on transformative transactions across energy and infrastructure. His work included mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, privatizations, and strategic investments.
He later served as General Counsel of Ashford Inc. and its affiliated public companies, leading legal, governance, and compliance across a portfolio of operating businesses. He built high-performing legal teams while working closely with executive leadership and investors to manage enterprise-level risk.
At QII, Alex helps guide development across powered sites, digital infrastructure, and next-generation energy delivery, helping ensure the company executes with clarity and delivers on its commitments.
He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.S. from the University of Kansas, and is admitted to practice law in Texas and New York. He serves on the Board of Governors of The Dallas Foundation.
